Above: Freshly dyed organic cotton to make into dresses & Liberty
fabrics / Drafting my patterns onto thick card / 'Research' looking
through beautiful magazines that I bought in London & getting
together contact details - I'm not much of a PR woman but I can try / My new beautiful woven labels that I am so looking forward to sewing into dresses, it feels all grown up & professional like.
We got back from London on Monday & it's been pretty damn busy getting things in order for my Spring Summer collection since then. It's so good to be back in the countryside, the sun has been shining & there is a real feeling of spring in the air, so I'm feeling so happy to be sewing & everything is slowly & steadily coming together.
I hope everyone is having a lovely February so far & is feeling a little Spring in their step! Don't forget if you wanna keep up with my day to day workings check out my Instagram - also the hashtag #iknowss13 or #isabelknowlesss13

ReplyDeleteThanks Sophie!
DeleteI love the fabrics! Especially the one that looks a little like something from the Art Nouveau era (?). And the label... yes, looks super professional! Good luck :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Linn. I'm glad you said that about the fabrics as it's the vibe I'm going for :)

ReplyDeleteHi Jo, oh thank you, I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to things like labels & stationary & all that jazz. It's a lovely compliment from someone who does such nice graphic design!
DeleteAhh... what a lovely business to be in that looking through those mags is research! That Frankie mag makes my heart sing :)
ReplyDeleteFrankie is so beautiful, I was obsessed with touching the cover, all lovely & embossed. Genius! I know, I wouldn't exactly call it 'business' but it was a good excuse to buy a lot of pretty magazines :)
DeleteI love your new logo (is it new!?) and labels and header too - or have I just missed that and it's not new at all!?
ReplyDeleteThanks Alexis! It is new indeed, well it's not officially my new logo as I know I will get bored, oh fickle me, but it's new for now & to go with my SS collection.
