Cabbage
Sunday, 2 March 2014
Cabbage is a term used in the rag trade for garments made from fabric that was surplus to requirements, these normally leave the factory and get sold on market stalls or to shops for discount prices, even though they are technically the same as the designer piece.
So, mine isn't exactly cabbage, but I like the word and to picture a cabbage, and I like to pretend I am a little factory of my own in a proper rag trade.
I have put together a collection of garments made from surplus fabric I had from bespoke orders as well as fabrics I've bought some time ago and need using up to make way for new things. Everything is half price as it's all made up in specific sizes and ready to send.
Available in my shop here.
