The lovely Suz contacted me earlier in the year about making a dress for her wedding day. Although the task seemed a little daunting at first I'm so pleased I said yes as it was really a lovely experience and I'm so proud of the results (if I do say so myself).

She was very keen to have an organic cotton dress that represented her and her fiancee's ethics and wanted something simple and elegant for her June wedding in Malta. The flowers were crocheted by herself from organic cotton too. She just looks so beautiful in the dress and it looks like a really magical day indeed.

Back in July my lovely big sister got married. I was in charge of doing bridesmaid's dresses - and also a lot of planning everything else cos she's a proper doctor person. Oh what a wonderful day it was. I was in floods of tears during the speeches - perhaps too much cider and not enough sleep to blame, I was sewing til 2am the night before.
