It's testament to you too that people are obviously still checking in on your blog after a few months hiatus. I always loved your photos, there is something refreshing about a UK blog, compared to the perfect blue skies/picturesque snowfall of the US ones. Sorry that you are in a funk but I hope you take solace in the joy and inspiration that your clothing, photos and blog have brought so many others. Also, sorry for getting a bit cheesy... How un-British of me. You are a superb seamstress with an exacting eye for detail and style. Plus a fantastic photographer to boot. A formidable combination :)
Sometimes I think as makers we have to go back before we can go forward. I found this very much when I hit a major 'bugger it, I can't take anymore' rut! Nose down, make whatever you want and lose yourself in that magical place we all go to when we sew :) take care and sending an encouraging virtual squeeze, Ren x @mrsfairysteps Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03744380962814599181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4384641387910407294.post-60057291345536698602016-06-01T22:46:25.809+01:002016-06-01T22:46:25.809+01:00Hang in there! I hope you find a creative project that you feel really passionately about and you keep creating things :) Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17468579181832639821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4384641387910407294.post-62622383718147927312016-05-27T09:01:07.247+01:002016-05-27T09:01:07.247+01:00Hi. It's very interesting to know the processes behind a creative brand and also very humbling to know that the rest of us aren't alone in feeling jaded sometimes, tired too often and caught up in life for long periods of time. Nor are you alone! Juggling it all is daunting and sometimes very hard, but once you get stuck into it you can't remember what kept you from it for so long (that's how it is for me at least). I find you truly inspirational and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next, be it a five piece mini collection or a new type of dress or fully fledged collection. Take care of yourself. x Jen
PS. I'll be wearing my apple dress to a wedding in a couple of weeks :)Jennoreply@blogger.com
